You miss the deep meaning this song carried. I for one have felt nothing previously in my life. It's horrible upon reflection. There are 3 things in life that remind me I'm alive. Rage, Love, and Pain. Rage isn't something great to feel all the time, Love is nice but is followed by / coupled with Pain. Trust me, while pain is not all that desirable, It's vastly preferred to feeling nothing. Feeling nothing is feeling empty and accepting it. No one wants that.
