Haha. Stop regurgitating a bunch of retarded shit you learned in Music Appreciation 101. You don't know anything about what you speak.

Wow you're retarded. Jimi Hendrix invented grunge? Grunge was born in the early 80s, over a decade after Hendrix was dead. Moron.

I'm guessing you don't know Tool or grunge very well? From Aenima onward there have been few Tool songs that are primarily in 4/4, and who said that grunge was synonymous with 4/4 anyway? If anything, that's pop music; which Tool definitely isn't. Also, why would any music automatically be considered grunge because it contains guitar distortion? Metal came before grunge and that uses distorted guitars???

Well put. To ME, Tool is more along the lines of psycedelic rock, I see them as the new generation Pink Floyd, But with a political twist.. haha Love maynard's voice, but i think led lep did the song a bit cooler. =)

Most modern music has 4/4 timming. Its easy to structure and mass produce.Hendrix had a hand in making alot of genres, but grunge was not directly one of them. Now as for scales, you're saying that a jazz band who use the same timming as slayer are they same genre of music? o.O |
